are many opportunities to use your gifts and talents to serve God
at Christ Church. For a comprehensive listing, pick up a Connect Book at the Information Center. The following are just a few of
those opportunities: United Methodist Men's Movers When a church family member moves we often times get together to help them. If you are ready to do some hard, physical labor for a friend, let us know and we will call when we need your help. Remember, the more the better. Contact: Bob Faso 386-0270 Share-A-Meal One evening every other month, Christ Church serves a meal to less fortunate people at the Salvation Army. The group meets at the church at 5:30 and spends a couple of hours serving our neighbors. Life Boat Ministries Life Boat Ministries is a group of volunteer lay ministers from City on a Hill; committed through the love of Jesus Christ, to people from City on a Hill, and within the community; who long for companionship or someone’s helping hand. Life Boat Ministers make hospital, home, extended care and nursing home visits. They will also make phone calls, send cards and maintain friendly contact with assigned members and friends whose lives are enriched by some extra attention and tender loving care. Volunteers will also provide a meal or meals to those that need that helping hand (after the birth of a baby, while recovering from surgery, etc.).
